$XRP Treasury Plans Target $1 Billion #Fundraise


#RippleLabs is organizing a fundraising initiative to purchase $1 billion worth of $XRP tokens for a new digital asset #treasury, according to Bloomberg sources. The company plans to structure the fundraise through a special purpose acquisition company, with Ripple contributing additional tokens from its existing holdings to the treasury.


The transaction details remain under discussion and could shift before finalization, sources told Bloomberg. Ripple Labs has not provided immediate comment on the reported plans. The move would position Ripple as the dominant player in $XRP #treasury operations, a space that has seen limited activity compared to $BTC and $ETH.


Current data shows Ripple already controls over 4.5 billion $XRP tokens based on its May markets report. The circulating supply of $XRP exceeds 59 billion tokens. A $1 billion purchase at current prices would add approximately 427 million tokens to the company's holdings.
