$BTC Drops Below $110K Triggering $524M Liquidations


The cryptocurrency market faced significant pressure on Thursday as Bitcoin briefly dropped under the $110,000 mark, triggering widespread liquidations across digital assets.


$BTC has recovered to $110,418, reflecting a 1.3% daily decline. Major #altcoins, including $ETH, $XRP, $SOL, $ADA, and $DOGE, recorded losses ranging from 0.9% to 5.3%, with only $TRX posting gains of 1.2%.


$ETH declined 1.8% to approximately $4,000. XRP dropped 4% to trade around $2.40, while $SOL, Cardano and Dogecoin fell 4.9%, 3.5%, and 3.9%, respectively.


The market downturn resulted in total #liquidations of roughly $524 million, according to CoinGlass data. The crypto market capitalization decreased 1% to $3.85 trillion as traders moved capital away from riskier assets.
