#Strategy's $BTC Holdings Hit Record $77.4B Value


Strategy Inc. reached a new milestone as its $BTC treasury valuation climbed to $77.4 billion, nearly double its 2024 value. The digital asset treasury firm now holds 640,031 $BTC, representing 3.2% of the total circulating supply.


CEO Michael Saylor noted the journey began with $0.25 billion in $BTC and an immediate $0.04 billion unrealized loss. The current valuation reflects consistent accumulation, with Strategy adding 11,085 $BTC over the past seven weeks.


The firm's most recent purchase involved 196 $BTC on Monday. Strategy's holdings now exceed the market capitalization of major banks including #BNYMellon, US Bancorp, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays.


At $77 billion, the #treasury could purchase 2.5 million cars at $30,000 each or 385,000 houses at $200,000 each. The valuation also matches the annual GDP of countries like Uruguay, Sri Lanka and Slovenia.


Strategy controls nearly 48% of all $BTC held by approximately 266 public and private companies. The total corporate holdings stand at 1.32 million $BTC, worth roughly $159 billion.
