#Aster DEX Tops $25M Daily Fees, Surpasses #Hyperliquid
Perpetuals trading platform Aster has claimed the top spot on DefiLlama's #protocol ranking for daily fees generated, recording over $25 million in the past 24 hours. The achievement places Aster above competitors such as Hyperliquid, which generated $3.17 million during the same period and ranked fifth.
#DefiLlama data shows Aster reported $199.96 million in spot trading volume over the past day, ranking the perpetuals DEX in 13th place. Hyperliquid maintains an edge in volume metrics with $477.3 million, though Aster leads decisively in fee generation. Notably, Aster does not appear in the aggregator's daily revenue ranking.
The platform gained significant traction following its token launch on Sept. 17, when the price appreciated considerably. This momentum was amplified after receiving public endorsement from prominent industry figure #ChangpengZhao. The former executive also confirmed another social media post indicating YZi Labs holds a minority stake in Aster.
