#Aster Exchange Surges Past #Hyperliquid in Daily Volume Race


The #BNBChain-based perpetuals exchange recorded $24.7 billion in 24-hour trading volume on Wednesday, overtaking established competitor Hyperliquid's $10 billion. Open interest exploded 33,500% within one week, jumping from $3.72 million Friday to $1.25 billion at reporting time.


Total value locked also witnessed dramatic growth, climbing 196% from Friday's $625 million to reach $1.85 billion. The surge indicates substantial trader capital deployment onto the platform as market participants explore alternatives to dominant derivatives exchanges.


EdgeX and Lighter followed in daily volume rankings with $8.25 billion and $6.18 billion, respectively. However, Hyperliquid maintains commanding leads over longer timeframes, recording $66 billion weekly and nearly $300 billion monthly perpetual volumes that remain unmatched across the sector.


#BNBChain spokesperson confirmed Aster received support from YZi Labs. The backing included mentorship opportunities, ecosystem exposure, and access to technical plus marketing resources designed to accelerate platform development and user acquisition.
