#Lamina1 Partners With #Linea for Creator Platform

Sci-fi author Neal Stephenson's Lamina1 has partnered with Consensys' Linea to launch Spaces on $ETH. The collaboration brings creator-owned media and interactive storytelling to the #layer-2 network through programmable intellectual property rights.

Joe Lubin, $ETH co-founder and Consensys CEO, invested in Lamina1 alongside Systemic Ventures. "Neal Stephenson is one of the leading figures in cyberpunk," Lubin noted about the partnership's potential for on-chain content creation.

#CreatorEconomy platform Lamina1 enables artists, writers, and developers to maintain intellectual property control while engaging fans directly. The platform has attracted over 150,000 active addresses since launching in 2022, demonstrating growing interest in decentralized content models.

Spaces debuts as Lamina1's first product on Linea, serving interactive story-driven worlds and creator-controlled IP. The platform's initial project, Artefact, combines Stephenson's vision with Weta Workshop development for immersive storytelling experiences.

Artefact offers a role-playing experience in a post-AI world where players join competing factions. Participants collect data fragments and influence the narrative's direction through on-chain actions recorded on $ETH via Linea's infrastructure.

Linea has processed over 230 million transactions and partnered with 420+ organizations by 2024's end. #zkEVM technology provides fast, inexpensive, and secure blockspace leveraging $ETH's decentralization with full EVM compatibility for seamless development.
