#Kaia Blockchain Partners With #LINE for Asian #Stablecoin Superapp
The Kaia #blockchain network and LINE NEXT have unveiled Project Unify, set to launch later this year on LINE's Dapp Portal. The initiative consolidates payment processing, remittance services, and cryptocurrency on-ramps within Asia's fragmented financial infrastructure.
A comprehensive software development kit will accompany the Unify service, targeting stablecoin issuers and app developers. The toolkit enables cross-border distribution for issuers while allowing developers to embed stablecoin functionality directly into their applications.
Sam Seo from the Kaia DLT Foundation emphasized Asia's scattered payment networks as the primary challenge. The blockchain, formed through Kakao's Klaytn and LINE's Finschia merger, aims to drive financial inclusion through infrastructure consolidation.
Multi-currency support includes stablecoins pegged to the Japanese yen, Korean won, Thai baht, Indonesian rupiah, Philippine peso, Malaysian ringgit, and Singapore dollar. This approach directly addresses regional payment networks that currently operate in complete isolation from one another.
