$BTC Projected To Deliver 28% Annual Returns Over Next Decade


#Bitwise Asset Management forecasts that $BTC will deliver 28% compound annual growth over the next 10 years, outperforming traditional assets while experiencing gradually declining volatility. The projection comes as institutional demand for long-term $BTC analysis surges.


Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan notes Bitwise received 12 requests for long-term assumptions this year after zero inquiries from 2017 through 2024. This shift reflects $BTC's transition from fringe asset to core portfolio consideration following spot #ETF approvals.


The firm expects $BTC's correlations with major assets to remain low, between -0.5 and 0.5, providing valuable diversification benefits for institutional allocators. Spot $BTC ETFs have accumulated nearly 7% of the total 21 million $BTC supply since launching in January 2024.


Corporate treasuries led by #MicroStrategy hold over $80 billion in $BTC assets. Bitwise plans to publish full methodology details later this week, including comparisons against traditional asset forecasts from JPMorgan, PIMCO, and #BlackRock.
