SharpLink Drops $667M on Ethereum as Holdings Hit $3.2B


SharpLink Gaming has purchased another 143,593 $ETH for $667 million at an average price of $4,648 per token. The company now holds 740,760 $ETH worth approximately $3.2 billion at current prices.


The Nasdaq-listed company ranks as the second-largest #Ethereum treasury globally, behind BitMine Immersion Tech's 1.5+ million $ETH holdings.


Nearly 100% of SharpLink's $ETH has been staked, generating 1,388 $ETH in rewards to date.


#Sharplink also raised $537 million during the week ending Aug. 17 and maintains $84 million in cash for future deployments. The company reported a 98% increase in "ETH Concentration" for Q2.


Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin serves as SharpLink's chairman and emphasized $ETH as "the trust layer for the decentralized economy." The #treasury strategy focuses on aggressive accumulation and strategic staking for yield generation.
