$BTC Mined in July
$BTC miner IREN Ltd posted 728 $BTC mined in July, beating industry heavyweight MARA Holdings' 703 $BTC despite having a lower deployed hashrate.
IREN achieved this with 50 exahashes per second compared to MARA's 58.9 EH/s, demonstrating superior operational efficiency.
The company reported $86 million in total July revenue, with $2.3 million coming from its expanding artificial intelligence cloud business.
Shares soared 11.4% to $18.32 on Wednesday, pushing IREN's #marketcap to $4.11 billion and making it the second-largest public $BTC miner.
IREN received an initial delivery of 256 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs from its 2,400-unit purchase, with co-CEO Daniel Roberts noting "accelerating interest" in the AI infrastructure.
