The tweet described this as a potential tipping point for cryptocurrencies and the XRP #Ledger . It said that shoppers would soon be able to pay for fast food in seconds with XRP, adding at the end: That's massive if it's true!
aturally, the message blew up the #cryptocurrency Twitter. Small creators and some XRP fans started talking about it. The timing was right as XRP was on the rise and its market value had just overtaken McDonald's.
But was it real?
