#JPMorgan Partners With #Coinbase for Direct Bank-to-Wallet Crypto Access


JPMorgan Chase customers will be able to directly link bank accounts to #crypto wallets starting in 2026 through a new Coinbase partnership.


The program lets #Chase users convert Ultimate Rewards Points to cryptocurrency at 100 points per $1 value.


This represents the first major credit card #rewards program funding crypto wallets, according to JPMorgan.


Chase customers can already fund Coinbase accounts via credit card starting Fall 2025, months before wallet integration.


The partnership marks a dramatic shift for CEO Jamie Dimon, who previously called $BTC a "fraud" in 2017.


JPMorgan recently explored offering loans backed by $BTC and $ETH holdings, signaling deeper crypto adoption.


The direct connection promises enhanced security and privacy for mutual customers transitioning between traditional and digital assets.


Wall Street's largest bank continues to expand crypto services despite Dimon's past skepticism toward digital currencies.
