GameSquare, listed on Nasdaq as GAME, has acquired CryptoPunk #5577—a rare "Cowboy Ape"—for $5.15 million from #Compound founder Robert Leshner, who received convertible preferred shares in the company as part of the deal. The company intends to leverage the #NFT for marketing and future revenue streams, though specific plans haven’t been revealed.


GameSquare also expanded its #Ethereum holdings with a $10 million purchase of 2,743 ETH, bringing its total to 12,913 ETH (around $45 million in value).
