PNC Bank Partners With Coinbase for Cryptocurrency Services


PNC has announced a partnership with #Coinbase to offer crypto services to its 12 million customers through Coinbase's CaaS platform.


The deal combines PNC's compliance and distribution reach with Coinbase's institutional-grade trading and custody infrastructure.


PNC will also provide select banking services to the U.S. digital asset exchange as part of the bilateral agreement.


PNC Chairman William Demchak said the partnership accelerates the bank's ability to deliver innovative crypto financial solutions.


The move follows Standard Chartered launching spot $BTC and $ETH trading for institutional clients.


JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon said the bank "will be involved" with both deposit tokens and #stablecoins to stay competitive.


President Trump's pro-crypto administration recently signed the #GENIUS Act standardizing rules for the $250 billion stablecoin industry.
