#Crypto Market Cap Hits $4 Trillion as $BTC and $ETH Drive Institutional Flows


The total cryptocurrency market capitalization surpassed $4 trillion for the first time on Friday morning, with $BTC and $ETH accounting for over 70% of the total value.


$BTC rose 1.4% to $120,336 while $ETH surged 6.4% to $3,647, driven by institutional inflows and regulatory victories in the U.S.


$BTC #ETFs pulled in $522.6 million on Thursday alone, extending a two-week streak of heavy inflows totaling over $4 billion.


The surge follows bipartisan passage of the #GENIUS and #CLARITY Acts, creating the first federal framework for stablecoins and crypto assets.


$ETH market dominance jumped from 9% to 11% while $BTC's share dropped four percentage points, signaling the start of #altcoin season.
