$BTC Whale Moves $4.7B in Satoshi-Era $BTC to #GalaxyDigital


A #Satoshi-era whale has transferred 40,192 $BTC worth $4.77 billion to Galaxy Digital, completing an 80,201 $BTC move totaling $9.6 billion.


The whale had remained dormant for 14 years before starting to move holdings on July 4, with original purchases dating back to 2011.


Blockchain analysts suggest the whale may be securing profits after $BTC reached new all-time highs above $122,000 on Monday.


At least 6,000 $BTC were sent to exchanges #Binance and Bybit during the transfer period, sparking speculation about potential selling pressure.


Industry experts believe Galaxy Digital may have purchased the entire stack rather than facilitating a sale, keeping the $BTC off the open market through institutional acquisition.
