$BTC #Satoshi-Era Whale Moves $4.7B to New Wallet After 14-Year Dormancy


A massive $BTC whale has transferred 40,192 $BTC worth $4.7 billion to a new wallet, completing the second half of its holdings move.


The whale previously sent 40,009 $BTC to Galaxy Digital on Tuesday, with 6,000 $BTC flowing directly to #Binance and Bybit exchanges.


Lookonchain first spotted the whale in July when it awakened after 14 years of dormancy since 2011.


The whale's eight wallets originally received $BTC in April and May 2011 when $BTC traded between $0.78 and $3.37.


Another smaller whale also moved 1,042 $BTC worth $123 million after six years of inactivity, originally acquired at $8,746 per token.


The whale movements coincide with $BTC retreat from its $122,000 all-time high, suggesting possible profit-taking by early hodlers.
