$ETH Could Hit $15,800 by 2028 as
$ETH Enters Trustware Era, Consensys Reports
Consensys predicts
$ETH could reach $15,800 by 2028 using a “cost-to-corrupt” valuation model as Ethereum evolves into critical trust infrastructure.
The blockchain company argues
$ETH is moving beyond smart contracts into a foundational layer for verifiable, programmable trust in global financial systems.
Consensys estimates the global economy spends over $9.3 trillion annually on trust infrastructure, including insurance, legal systems, auditors, and compliance.
The cost-to-corrupt model links
$ETH market value to the security required for protecting economic activity, with higher network value demanding higher attack costs.
The model assumes $1 trillion in stablecoins, $500 billion in tokenized real-world assets, and $300 billion in total value locked by 2028.
Some projections suggest $2 trillion in #stablecoins and up to $16 trillion in RWAs by 2028 or 2030, with Ethereum maintaining its current dominance.
As of May 31, Ethereum secured $220 billion in High-Quality Liquid Assets on-chain, significantly outpacing Solana's $20.3 billion and Avalanche's $3.7 billion.
The network operates with 1,056,000 validators across 84 countries, positioning it as the prime choice for institutional investors managing billions in global capital through trustware infrastructure.
