#Metaplanet CEO Joins Korean Acquisition To Expand Asian $BTC Treasury Strategy


Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich is leading a consortium to acquire a controlling stake in Korean KOSDAQ-listed company SGA.


The deal positions SGA to adopt $BTC treasury strategies as part of broader Asian corporate adoption initiatives.


Top Win International, rebranded as Asia Strategy, will become the largest shareholder following the approval of 58 million new shares issued.


This follows Metaplanet's recent acquisition of 797 additional $BTC at $117,451 per coin, bringing total holdings to 16,352 $BTC.


The acquisition strategy mirrors successful M&A approaches used to transform traditional companies into $BTC-aligned entities across Asia.
