#SharpLink Purchases $48M in $ETH Following Friday's $63M Buy


Nasdaq-listed SharpLink Gaming acquired 16,374 $ETH worth $48.85 million on Sunday through Galaxy Digital's OTC desk.


The purchase follows Friday's 21,487 $ETH buy for $63.7 million, bringing total holdings to 216,000 $ETH valued at $648 million.


SharpLink shares rallied 17.5% Friday and gained another 7.16% in Sunday trading as $ETH topped $3,052.


The company pivoted from affiliate marketing to $ETH treasury strategy after a $425 million private placement led by Consensys.


$ETH co-founder Joe Lubin has become chairman and positions SharpLink as both treasury investor and ecosystem steward.


The firm now holds the second-largest $ETH reserves after the #Ethereum Foundation, removing supply from circulation through #staking strategies.
