$PENGU Surges 29% as Meme Coins Rally Behind #Bitcoin's $113K Record


$PENGU leads meme coin gains with a 29% surge to $0.019 as Bitcoin topped $113,000 for the first time.


The Solana-based token from the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem emerged as the biggest mover among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap.


$DOGE climbed 7% to $0.186 while $WIF jumped nearly 14% to $1.01 in 24-hour trading.


Combined trading volume for the trio exceeded $4.5 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data.


Other Solana meme tokens joined the rally, with $BONK up 13% and $FARTCOIN gaining 12.5%.


The broader meme coin category outperformed Bitcoin and Ethereum with 10% gains.


$BONK gained 39% on the week following momentum from its LetsBonk launchpad surpassing   Pump.fun in daily token launches.


#Memecoins saw heightened activity as traders capitalized on Bitcoin's fresh all-time high momentum.
