$BNB Burns 1.6M Tokens Worth Over $1 Billion in Latest Quarterly Event


The BNB Foundation has completed its 32nd quarterly token burn, destroying 1,595,599.78 $BNB tokens.


The burned tokens were valued at approximately $1.024 billion at the time of execution.


This burn reduces the remaining total supply to 139,289,513.94 $BNB tokens.


$BNB employs an Auto-Burn system designed to reduce the total supply gradually to 100 million tokens.


The burn amount adjusts based on $BNB price and the number of blocks generated on BSC during each quarter.


BSC validators also implement real-time burning based on gas fees collected in each block.


Since the BEP95 introduction, roughly 265,000 $BNB has been burned through this real-time mechanism.
