#BNBChain Expands xStocks Trading as Kraken and Backed Launch Tokenized Equities
#Kraken and Backed are bringing tokenized U.S. equities to BNB Chain as BEP-20 tokens through their xStocks platform.
The expansion allows eligible non-U.S. users to trade stocks like AAPLx, TSLAx, and NVDAx on the blockchain.
BNB Chain joins #Solana in supporting the #xStocks Alliance, enabling 24/7 trading of traditional equities on-chain.
Users can deposit and withdraw xStocks through both BNB Chain and Solana on Kraken's platform.
The move targets markets with limited access to conventional stock trading through #DeFi integration.
Tokenized equities can be traded on-chain at any time when withdrawn to self-custodial wallets.
BNB Chain was selected for its high throughput, low fees, and $10 billion total value locked.
