CleanSpark Mines 685 $BTC in June With 145% Hashrate Growth Year-Over-Year

CleanSpark achieved an operational hashrate of 50 exahash per second in June, up from 20.4 EH/s a year earlier, representing 145.1% mining capacity growth.

The company mined 685 $BTC worth $74.2 million at current prices compared to 445 $BTC in June 2024.

CEO Zach Bradford credited operations and technology teams for adding over 10 EH/s capacity across four states during the month.

The 9.6% monthly hashrate increase demonstrates ambitious scaling despite post-halving #mining challenges.

CleanSpark sold 578 $BTC in June, representing the majority of its monthly production for operational funding.

Total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 12,608 $BTC, placing the company seventh among publicly traded corporations.

Among $BTC miners, only #MARA Holdings with 50,000 $BTC and Riot Platforms with 19,225 $BTC hold larger reserves.

Bradford noted that corporate Bitcoin acquisitions have outpaced #ETF net inflows for the third consecutive quarter.

CLSK shares dropped 8% on Monday following the mining update amid broader Nasdaq declines.

The company has expanded operations since February 2024 to include facilities in Georgia, Mississippi, Wyoming, and Tennessee.
