$BTC Shorts Face $280M Liquidation as Price Tops $110K


$BTC briefly topped $110,000 Thursday morning, triggering $281 million in #liquidated short positions across the entire crypto market.


$BTC short liquidations alone reached $101 million as the leading cryptocurrency approached its all-time high of $111,814.


The price surge followed the ADP National Employment Report showing U.S. private payrolls fell for the first time since 2023.


Markets quickly adjusted Fed policy expectations, with July rate cut probability rising to 25.3%, according to analysts.


$ETH climbed 5.5% to around $2,600, reaching its highest level since mid-June, while $DOGE gained 7.3%.


U.S. spot $BTC #ETFs recorded $407.8 million in inflows Wednesday, with Fidelity's FBTC leading at $184 million.


The Rex-Osprey #SolanaETF generated $12 million in first-day inflows, marking another milestone for #crypto ETF adoption.
