#Arbitrum Surges 17% on #Robinhood Partnership Speculation


$ARB jumped 17% to 36 cents amid speculation of an upcoming #Robinhood collaboration announcement.


Robinhood posted about a Monday fireside chat featuring Vitalik Buterin, Johann Kerbrat, and Offchain Labs' A.J. Warner.


The event in Cannes promises to unveil Robinhood's "biggest crypto announcements of the year."


A May Bloomberg report revealed Robinhood was considering Arbitrum and Solana for its European #blockchain trading platform.


Former Ethereum developer Eric Connor suggested Robinhood chose Arbitrum for the partnership.


The token climbed from 31 cents to a 38.6-cent intraday high within eight hours of the social media post.


Dragonfly partner Omar Kanji speculated Robinhood could announce its own chain using Ethereum and Arbitrum infrastructure.


Robinhood shares gained 1.65% in overnight #trading to $84.26 on partnership expectations.
