Decentralized oracle network Chainlink continues to lead DeFi with the most development activity, according to Santiment.
- Decentralized oracle network Chainlink (LINK) remains the leader in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) in terms of developer activity, according to analyst firm Santiment.
In a new post on social network X, Santiment pointed out that #Chainlink has seen 363.73 significant events on GitHub in the past month.
This figure significantly surpasses the result of the second #DeFi project DeepBook Protocol (DEEP), which registered 193.57 events. DeepBook is a decentralized centralized limit #order book (CLOB) used by exchanges to facilitate trading between participants by recording bids and offers.
In third place is DeFiChain (DFI), a layer 1 protocol designed for decentralized financial applications. In one month, it recorded 152 notable events on GitHub.
Chainlink, DeepBook and DeFiChain held the top three positions last month as well.
Santiment specifies that it doesn't count regular updates and uses a more refined methodology to collect event data on GitHub based on a tried-and-true approach.
The analyst company previously noted that the high level of developer activity around the crypto project is a positive signal, indicating that developers believe in the success of the protocol. It also indicates a lower probability that the project will turn out to be fraudulent. At the time of writing the article
