#GENIUS Act Gets 89% Odds on Polymarket Following Senate Approval


Prediction market #Polymarket shows an 89% probability that the GENIUS stablecoin bill will become law before 2026.


The betting market launched roughly 18 hours after the legislation passed the Senate in a 68-30 vote on Tuesday.


President #Trump has publicly urged the House to pass the bill quickly, stating he wants it on his desk "ASAP" with no amendments.


The legislation would establish a comprehensive regulatory framework allowing U.S. companies to issue their own #stablecoins for transaction settlement.


Tech giants Apple and Google have reportedly been considering launching their own tokens if the bill becomes law.


Two senators have forwarded questions to Meta about potential stablecoin plans should the GENIUS Act pass.


Republicans hold a slim House majority and may soon vote on the companion CLARITY Act, which passed committee last week.


The CLARITY Act would define roles for financial regulators overseeing #DigitalAssets, complementing the GENIUS stablecoin framework.
