#SemlerScientific Plans Massive
$BTC Stack Expansion to 105,000 Coins
Healthcare technology firm Semler Scientific is aiming to grow its Bitcoin holdings from 3,808
$BTC to 105,000
$BTC by 2027.
The company targets 10,000
$BTC by the end of 2025 and 42,000
$BTC by 2026, before reaching its final goal of 105,000
$BTC.
Semler plans to fund the acquisitions through equity raises, debt financing, and operational cash flow over the next two and a half years.
The firm has appointed Bitcoin researcher Joe Burnett as director of bitcoin strategy to lead the ambitious accumulation plan.
Burnett previously served at Unchained and Blockware Solutions before joining from Big Four accounting firm EY.
Reaching 105,000
$BTC would give Semler, currently already ranking 13th among public company holders, 0.5% of
$BTC fixed 21 million supply.
VanEck analyst Matthew Sigel warned that
$BTC-buying companies should consider sunsetting strategies if stock prices approach net asset value.
Semler currently shows a 287%
$BTCyield with $177 million in unrealized gains, though shares are down 41% year-to-date, approaching pre-#Bitcoin levels.
