#Tether Acquires 32% Stake in Canadian #Gold Firm Elemental for $89 Million Strategic Diversification


USDT$USDT issuer Tether has purchased 31.9% of Elemental Altus Royalties Corp through its investment arm for CAD$1.55 per share.


The $89.2 million acquisition provides diversified exposure to global gold production through royalty streams without mining risks.


#Tether holds options to increase ownership to 47.7% by acquiring additional shares worth $38.7 million after October 2025.


CEO Paolo Ardoino says the investment strengthens Tether Gold $XAUt backing while building "financial infrastructure for the next century."


The company now holds over 100,000 BTC$BTC worth $10.7 billion, plus nearly 80 tons of physical #gold reserves.


Elemental shares gained 34.2% year-to-date as the precious metals royalty model attracts institutional #cryptocurrency players.
