$BTC #ETFs Approach Historic $1 Trillion Trading Volume Milestone in Under 18 Months

U.S. spot $BTC #ETFs are closing in on a $1 trillion cumulative trading volume, less than 18 months after their January 2024 launch.

The current cumulative volume sits at $995.2 billion as of June 9, with $BTC trading around $109,850 near all-time highs.

#BlackRock's IBIT dominates with 79% market share by trading volume, growing from 22% at launch.

The funds attracted $100 billion in trading volume by March 2024 and $200 billion by April 2024 during the initial rally.

#IBIT became the fastest ETF to reach $70 billion in assets under management in just 341 trading days.

Combined spot $BTC ETFs now account for more than $120 billion in assets under management, led by IBIT's $70 billion.

At current daily trading volumes of $2.3 billion to $4.4 billion, the milestone is expected within days.
