$BTC ETF Crushes Gold Record as BlackRock IBIT Hits $70 Billion


BlackRock's IBIT fund reached $70 billion in just 341 days, becoming the fastest ETF to achieve this milestone in history.


The $BTC fund accomplished this feat five times faster than the gold ETF GLD, which took 1,691 days to hit $70 billion.


IBIT dominates the spot Bitcoin ETF market with more than double Fidelity's $31 billion in assets under management.


The fund recently completed a 34-day streak of continuous inflows as institutional adoption accelerates.


BlackRock now holds 2.8% of the entire $BTC supply on behalf of its clients, according to Arkham Intelligence.


Both #BTC and gold have performed strongly this year amid economic uncertainty from President Trump's tariff strategy.
