$BTC Trader #JamesWynn Loses $25 Million on Leveraged Position


Prominent crypto trader James Wynn suffered a liquidation of 240 $BTC worth approximately $25 million on #Hyperliquid.


Wynn was trading with 40x leverage, betting on $BTC price increases when the liquidation occurred.


The trader manually closed part of his position to lower liquidation risk but still maintains 770 $BTC worth around $80.5 million.


Current data shows Wynn faces nearly $1 million in unrealized losses on his remaining leveraged long position.


Following the liquidation, Wynn alleged market manipulation and requested donations to support his cause of exposing such practices.


Wynn gained attention for making massive leveraged bets on $BTC through Hyperliquid, where position data remains publicly visible.


His trading history includes a previous $1.25 billion bet in May and losses exceeding $100 million over a single week.
