$XRP Futures Hit $19M First-Day Volume on CME, Outpacing $SOL Launch


CME Group's new $XRP futures trading generated over $19 million in first-day notional volume, surpassing $SOL's $12.3 million March debut.


The fourth crypto product from America's largest derivatives marketplace offers both micro-sized (2,500 XRP) and larger-sized (50,000 XRP) contracts.


Hidden Road cleared the first $XRP futures trade, with President Noel Kimmel calling it a "significant milestone" for institutional #digitalassets adoption.


$XRP futures join $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL in CME's regulated cryptocurrency suite, providing "deeply liquid, capital-efficient tools" for investors.


The strong debut comes as the SEC recently delayed decisions on spot SOL and XRP ETF proposals.
