$BTC #Treasury Plan Sends DigiAsia Shares Soaring 90% on Nasdaq


Indonesian fintech firm DigiAsia saw its FAAS shares nearly double after announcing plans to raise $100 million for a $BTC treasury reserve strategy.


The Jakarta-based #Nasdaq-listed company committed to allocating 50% of future net profits toward purchasing $BTC while exploring yield generation through lending and staking.


DigiAsia's stock closed with a gain of 91% at $0.36 on May 19 following the announcement, though it dropped 22% after-hours to $0.28.


The company reported 36% year-on-year revenue growth to $101 million in 2024 and projects 24% growth to $125 million in 2025.


Corporate $BTC treasuries now collectively hold over 3 million $BTC worth more than $340 billion, with industry leaders like #Strategy (formerly #MicroStrategy) holding 576,230 $BTC valued at nearly $60.9 billion.
