Haowang shut down last week after #Telegram imposed restrictions following FinCEN's designation of parent company Huione Group as a money laundering enterprise with North Korean ties.


Scammers immediately migrated to alternative "guarantee" services, demonstrating the resilience of criminal networks in the #crypto space.


Telegram continues as the primary hub for these services due to its pseudonymity and design limitations that hinder monitoring, though the platform claims to remove scams when discovered.
