$BTC Transaction Fees Surge to 2025 Highs as Price Challenges $106K


$BTC transaction fees hit their highest level this year as demand for blockspace increases amid the price rally. Seven-day average fees rose by $1 since early May, reaching $2.40.


Bitcoin touched nearly $106,000 on Sunday before pulling back to current levels around $104,500. Daily transaction count dropped 35% from April's 507,000 peak to the current 330,000, offsetting the fee increases.


$BTC dominance recovered after recent pullback, signaling institutional preference over #altcoins during the rally.

The rebound suggests recent dips were liquidity-driven rather than fundamental shifts toward an #altcoin season.


Liquid supply reached new all-time highs, according to #Glassnode data, showing minimal spending activity. Reduced exchange supply could trigger a potential supply shock with rising demand, pushing prices further upward.
