$USDT Mints Fresh 1 Billion on #Tron Network, Surpassing #Ethereum


#Tether has minted 1 billion $USDT on Tron, pushing the network ahead of Ethereum in #stablecoin dominance.


With this addition, Tron now leads in both authorized and circulating $USDT supply, with $74.7 billion authorized versus Ethereum's $74.5 billion.

Tron's circulating supply of $73.6 billion also exceeds Ethereum's $71.8 billion, confirming its position as the top stablecoin network.


Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino previously explained that mints replenish inventory for future issuance requests and chain swaps.


#Solana ranks third with $2.3 billion authorized $USDT , followed by Avalanche with $1.8 billion.


Tether's total circulation has reached a record $150 billion, representing 61% of all USD stablecoins, while Circle holds 24.6% market share with $60.4 billion.
