$DOOD Airdrop Drives Doodles NFT Sales Up 97%


#Doodles NFT sales volume nearly doubled in 24 hours, reaching over $1.1 million as traders position for the upcoming token airdrop.


The collection now ranks third for daily #NFT sales, following only DMarket and Courtyard NFTs.


Weekly sales volume hit $2.6 million, representing a 368% increase from the previous week.

The surge comes as Doodles prepares for its May 9 Token Generation Event for the $DOOD #memecoin on $SOL.


The project will mint 10 billion tokens, with 68% allocated to community members, and plans to eventually bridge to the Base blockchain.


Exchanges, including #Binance and #Bybit, have announced they will list $DOOD immediately after the token launch.


The broader NFT market reached $103 million in weekly sales, with $ETH-based NFTs leading at $26.5 million, followed by #Polygon at $19.1 million.
