IRS Appoints Veteran Official Turner to Lead #Crypto Division


Veteran IRS official Trish Turner has been appointed to head the agency's #digitalassets division after two key executives departed.


Turner, with over 20 years at the IRS, previously served as a senior adviser within the Digital Assets Office.


Sulolit Mukherjee and Seth Wilks, private-sector experts leading the unit, exited after approximately one year in their roles.


Wilks cited a "difficult environment" for federal employees in recent months as a factor in his departure.
