<p>On June 20th, Judge Phyllis Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California made this determination and allowed a lawsuit to proceed regarding statements made by Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. Four other allegations accusing Ripple of failing to register XRP as a security were dismissed by Judge Hamilton.</p>
