The cryptocurrency market has seen significant liquidation. According to Coinglass data, $27.89 million was liquidated in the entire cryptocurrency industry in the last hour.
While long positions constituted the majority of this figure with liquidation of $ 26.94 million, short positions were liquidated with $ 943,000.
The numbers only increase as you look at larger time frames. In the last 4 hours, the market experienced $82.06 million worth of liquidation; Of this, $78.62 million was long positions and $3.44 million was short positions.

The 12-hour and 24-hour figures are even more worrying. While liquidations of $97.44 million and $152.92 million occurred in the market during these time periods, respectively, long positions constituted the majority of these figures.
Among the exchanges, OKX witnessed the highest liquidation with a total of 24.69 million dollars. Long positions were liquidated for $23.80 million and short positions for $892.04 thousand. Binance and Bybit followed with liquidations of $20.40 million and $12.29 million, respectively. Huobi had the least liquidation of the four, with a total of $5.98 million.
