Bitcoin's network <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/impending-bitcoin-halving-may-trigger-major-hashrate-decline-say-experts/">hashrate</a> has rebounded impressively following a significant post-<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/heat-waves-and-halving-bitcoin-miners-cash-in-amid-rising-prices/">halving</a> drop. Nico Smid, founder of Digital Mining Solutions, reported a decrease of 74 EH/s, an 11.3% decline, after the recent halving event. Despite this, the hashrate surged to a new all-time high, indicating that the most significant impact of the halving on the hashrate is likely over, according to <a href="https://x.com/Smidnico/status/1795113384116887973">Smidnico</a>.

The graph from Sazmining and <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/nicehash-launches-rig-manager-for-enhanced-crypto-mining/">NiceHash</a> shows the network hashrate's seven-day moving average. Starting from late November 2023, the hashrate experienced fluctuations but trended upwards overall. By mid-May 2024, the hashrate surpassed the previous highs, peaking around 666 EH/s. 
The ongoing growth in hashrate signals robust network health and continued investment in mining infrastructure.
