<p>A Bitcoin investor recently fell victim to an “address poisoning” scam, resulting in a loss of $68 million. The incident, which took place on May 3rd, was brought to light by blockchain detective ZachXBT. The victim, intending to send 1,115 Bitcoin to a specific address, inadvertently sent it to an address set by the attackers due to “address poisoning”.
