A new meme token called DogWifCat on Solana is up over 1,200% in the last 24 hours. 
DogWifCat (DWFIC) has taken the <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/Solana/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Solana</a> ecosystem by storm, rising more than 1,200% in 24 hours to $0.00640, according to crypto exchange <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/Poloniex/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poloniex</a>. At the same time, trading volumes of the token over the past 24 hours reached almost $42,500 at the current price.

There is practically no information about the new DWFIC token. According to the project’s website, the coin is available on the <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/Jupiter/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jupiter</a> and <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/Raydium/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Raydium</a> exchanges. Poloniex also announced its listing.

The authors of the project describe DogWifCat as follows:

A new token in the Solana ecosystem has caught the community’s attention, copying the popular meme coin Dogwifhat (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/Dogwifhat/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WIF</a>). The coin was also the top gainer over the past 24 hours, according to <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/CoinMarketCap/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CoinMarketCap</a> data, increasing in price by 20% to $2.89 and by 160% in trading volume at $679 billion. 
Currently, WIF’s capitalization is estimated at $2.8 million, which makes it the fourth top asset by this indicator. Only Dogecoin (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/dogecoin/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">DOGE</a>), Shiba Inu (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/Shiba-Inu/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SHIB</a>), and Pepe (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/Pepe/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">PEPE</a>) are ahead of Dogwifhat. 
 Interest in the token is fueled by the Dogwifhat community, which previously raised funds to place the project’s logo on one of the most famous buildings in Las Vegas. The owner of the dog photo <a href="https://crypto.news/dogwifhat-meme-pic-sold/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">sold</a> the <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/NFT/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFT</a> for&nbsp;1,210 Ether (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/ethereum/">ETH</a>) worth $4.3 million.
