<p>XEC price surged roughly 72.79% during the end of June 2023 and formed an annual high at $0.00004572. Since then, the price has been declining. Ecash became one of the top gainers followed by Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, and Litecoin.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The bears entered the market and pushed the price back below $0.00004. XEC price did try to retest the high but the move was again halted at $0.00003990. The bears did not find the price justifiable above $0.00004. Recently, the price has been stuck in a narrow consolidation zone ranging between $0.000032 and $0.00002940.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The consolidation has been going on since mid-July 2023. The price attempted several times to escape the consolidation zone but was not successful. If a candle can close above $0.000032, there is the possibility that it might fill the upper wick of the 20 July 2023 candle and potentially rise toward $0.000035.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>On the other hand, if bears can push the price below the support level of $0.00002940, the price might melt toward the next support level of $0.000022.</p>

The predecessor of Ecash XEC coin, Bitcoin cash doubled in its value over the week, Ecash community also become optimistic about its potential for similar growth.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Ecash operates on a Proof-Of-Stake (PoS) blockchain which differentiates it from Bitcoin and several other derivatives which currently rely on the Proof-of-Work (PoW) mechanism.&nbsp;</p>

Chaikin money flow (CMF) score is -0.22 suggesting strong weakness in the market.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>CMF has been trading below the 0 mark since 20 July 2023. The relative strength index (RSI) is 47.35 implying that the price is in neutral territory and in an indecisive phase. RSI has been hovering around the 50 mark since the consolidation started.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The Bollinger bands have also contracted suggesting low volatility in the market. The price has declined below the 20-day SMA and is hovering near the lower band.</p>
