Former Goldman Sachs top manager and CEO of Real Vision, Raoul Pal, believes that against the backdrop of the banking and economic crisis in the United States, bitcoin can win and reach $50,000 within a year. In an interview with the founder of Morgan Creek Digital, Anthony Pompliano, Raoul Pal noted that ideal conditions are now emerging for bitcoin to take the place of a real protective asset, along with gold. And this will allow the rate of the first cryptocurrency to grow significantly in the near future. One of the drivers of bitcoin&#39;s growth may be the capitulation of &#34;bears&#34; and &#34;short-squiz&#34;. It was the price slippage that significantly affected bitcoin&#39;s performance in the past. And if bitcoin is really perceived as a protective asset, then more and more people will invest in it, and more and more sellers will capitulate. <blockquote>&#34;I think the number of price slippages will be noticeably more than people expect. Therefore, the bitcoin exchange rate can reach up to $50,000 faster than most people expect. This year or within 12 months? It is quite likely,&#34; said Raul Pal. </blockquote>The CEO of Real Vision also expects that in the longer term, the cryptocurrency market may well repeat parabolic growth similar to what was observed in 2021 and 2017. This will also contribute to the increasing interest in cryptocurrencies from both institutional investors and ordinary people. Increased adoption of cryptocurrencies will be accompanied by increased regulation of the industry, Pal believes. Last year, Raoul Pal said that within 10 years the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market will reach $ 300 trillion. Note that at the moment the capitalization of the US stock market does not exceed $ 100 trillion.
