<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-spur-protocol-update-why-is-the-vesting-schedule-being-limited-span-span">Spur Protocol Update: Why Is the Vesting Schedule Being Limited?</h2>
Spur Protocol has said its next app update will stop users from changing a <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/token-vesting-guide" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">vesting schedule</a> more than once. The team shared the notice on its official X account and asked Spurians to review their settings carefully before making any change.
This Spur Protocol Update is short. It gives no release date for the new app version and no steps for the change. The post ends with a line that more updates are coming.
For anyone tracking Spur Protocol news today, the key point is the one-change limit. It raises a fair question about what the app update will actually change.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-what-does-the-spur-protocol-app-update-change-for-vesting-span-span">What Does the Spur Protocol App Update Change for Vesting?</h2>
According to the official X notice, the rule applies from the next app update. Until then, the post implies that schedule changes are still possible, though it does not describe how many are allowed today.

The Spur Protocol vesting update comes down to one rule. After the update, a user who changes a schedule once cannot change it again. That is why the team stresses a careful review first.
<h3 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-which-spur-protocol-vesting-details-are-still-missing-span-span">Which Spur Protocol Vesting Details Are Still Missing?</h3>
Several points remain unconfirmed. The post does not explain what options a user allocation plan offers, which tokens it covers or what the schedule changes in practice. It does not say when the app update goes live.
The team has also not said whether the rule applies to every account. Until it explains more, those details stay open.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-how-does-the-son-token-vesting-schedule-fit-into-the-tokenomics-span-span">How Does the SON Token Vesting Schedule Fit Into the Tokenomics?</h2>
The post does not name the SON token, so the link between the Spur Protocol user allocation plan and SON remains unconfirmed. The project's<a href="https://spurprotocol.com/tokenomics" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">published tokenomics page</a> sets a total supply of 1 billion SON, with 40% for the community.
It also shows 20% as a project future reserve, locked for 24-months with a 6-month cliff. These are project figures, and no SON token vesting schedule for users has been published.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-is-this-spur-protocol-update-tied-to-mainnet-and-listing-plans-span-span">Is This Spur Protocol Update Tied to Mainnet and Listing Plans?</h2>
The notice does not mention a launch, so no link is confirmed. The earlier <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/spur-protocol-mainnet-update-spurswap-final-community-event" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Spur Protocol Mainnet Update</a> said the team is still preparing mainnet, and that SpurSwap activities are part of the last community event before launch.&nbsp;
The roadmap on the<a href="https://spurprotocol.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Spur Open Network</a> site had listed a mainnet launch for Q2 2026.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-expert-take-what-could-shape-the-vesting-story-next-span-span">Expert Take: What Could Shape the Vesting Story Next?</h2>
The data suggests the next useful signal after this Spur Protocol Update is a full description of the app update. Release timing, the scope of the one-change limit and the type of vesting covered would answer most open questions.
The main uncertainty remains the meaning of the schedule itself. The post is a notice, and it carries no figures. Rule changes inside an app can also alter how users manage their holdings, so official clarification matters.
Spur Protocol daily news may add context if the team shares more, as may wider crypto news updates and the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-english" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto news today</a> roundup. The team's own channels remain the main source for confirmed details.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-conclusion-span-span">Conclusion</h2>
The latest Spur Protocol Update confirms one rule: after the next app update, a user allocation plan can be changed only once. The release date, scope and schedule details are still unannounced.
In <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/spur-protocol-app-login-download-wallet-guide" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Spur Protocol</a> latest news, the app update notes will be the main item to watch. This Spur Protocol Update remains a notice about a rule, not a launch.
