The fundamental metrics supporting this rally are substantial. The company’s latest quarterly results revealed sales of $8.97 billion, marking a 372% year-over-year expansion. Gross profit margin reached 84.6%, while data-center-related revenue more than doubled on a sequential basis to $2.98 billion. Leadership guidance points toward potential revenue of up to $10.8 billion in the upcoming quarter.
The organization increased its outstanding share-buyback authorization to $15.5 billion, equivalent to approximately 5.7% of its present market valuation. Such substantial repurchase programs typically draw significant interest from institutional capital.

Multi-Year Contracts Provide Revenue Stability

A notable strategic transformation at SanDisk involves its departure from traditional spot-market NAND transactions. The enterprise has executed multi-year supply arrangements with eight data-center clients, including three major US hyperscale operators, with a combined minimum contract value totaling $93.9 billion.
These arrangements incorporate both minimum and maximum pricing mechanisms. According to the CFO, the floor pricing structure supports gross margins hovering around 80%. The contracts are anticipated to represent 50% of bit shipments during fiscal 2027, rising to 67% in fiscal 2028.
In its 10-K filing, SanDisk characterizes these evolving business arrangements as the strategic direction for the organization, delivering enhanced revenue predictability and manufacturing planning capabilities. While not eliminating all business risks, they substantially improve visibility compared to conventional NAND suppliers.
The company also continues its established joint venture partnership with Kioxia at the Yokkaichi manufacturing facility in Japan, recently renewed through December 2034. Combined, these partners control 33% of worldwide wafer production capacity. This collaboration enables both organizations to distribute manufacturing expenses and collaborate on technological advancement.

High-Bandwidth Flash Technology Presents AI Growth Catalyst

Through collaboration with SK Hynix, SanDisk co-developed a high-bandwidth flash specification targeting AI inference applications. HBF technology is engineered to deliver eight to 16 times greater memory capacity at equivalent bandwidth levels versus current solutions.
The company has finalized the design of its inaugural HBF chip and remains on schedule for a 2027 introduction, with volume production planned for 2028. The initiative has garnered support from Alphabet, Meta Platforms and Tenstorrent. Nvidia’s participation has not been officially announced.
Significantly, HBF revenue is not incorporated into SanDisk’s existing financial forecasts, which already project mid-to-high-teens revenue compound annual growth rates through fiscal 2030.
Lynx Research maintains a $2,450 valuation target for SNDK. The research firm observed that the pronounced volatility experienced during May and June has stabilized and that institutional accumulation has adopted a more deliberate pace.
