<h2 id="header-0">🚀 Boost FAQ</h2><h3 id="strong-what-are-boosts-strong"><strong>What are Boosts?</strong></h3><p>Boosts increase a token&#x27;s visibility in the trending rankings by temporarily raising its Trending Score, giving it a real-time boost for 12 to 24 hours, depending on the pack. The number of active Boosts is displayed next to the token across the platform. The Golden Ticker unlocks when a token has 600 or more active Boosts.</p><h3 id="strong-what-is-the-trending-score-strong"><strong>What is the Trending Score?</strong></h3><p>The Trending Score measures a token’s recent activity and popularity to determine how ‘trending’ it is on CoinMarketCap. The higher a token’s Trending Score, the higher it ranks on the trending list. This score is a composite metric, incorporating factors such as trading activity, price movement, social engagement, and more.</p><h3 id="strong-do-boosts-guarantee-a-specific-ranking-for-a-token-strong"><strong>Do Boosts guarantee a specific ranking for a token?</strong></h3><p>No. Boosts increase a token’s Trending Score and improve its visibility, but they do not guarantee a specific ranking on the trending list, as rankings are influenced by overall market activity and other tokens’ performance. However, applying a Boost should generally improve a token’s ranking compared to not using one.</p><h3 id="strong-how-can-i-purchase-a-boost-for-a-token-strong"><strong>How can I purchase a Boost for a token?</strong></h3><p>To purchase a Boost, go to the token’s detail page and click the Boost button, or <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/boost/" target="_blank">click here to Boost</a>! Select a Boost pack and pay using either crypto or a credit card. Once the payment is complete, your Boost will be applied.</p><h3 id="strong-which-tokens-are-eligible-for-boosts-strong"><strong>Which tokens are eligible for Boosts?</strong></h3><p>Most tokens on CoinMarketCap are eligible for Boost. However, tokens that are untracked, upcoming, rehypothecated, stablecoins, or unsupported RWA assets cannot use Boost. Additionally, tokens that fail security audits or are flagged as malicious by our moderators are ineligible.</p><h3 id="strong-can-i-schedule-a-boost-how-quickly-does-a-boost-take-effect-after-purchase-strong"><strong>Can I schedule a Boost? How quickly does a Boost take effect after purchase?</strong></h3><p>No. Boosts cannot be scheduled at the moment. Boosts become active within a few minutes after payment is confirmed.</p><h3 id="strong-can-i-purchase-multiple-boost-packs-for-one-token-will-the-effects-add-up-strong"><strong>Can I purchase multiple Boost packs for one token? Will the effects add up?</strong></h3><p>Yes. You can purchase multiple Boost packs, and their effects are additive. The total Boost is calculated by adding together all active Boosts for that token, regardless of who purchased them.</p><h3 id="strong-can-i-get-a-refund-for-a-boost-strong"><strong>Can I get a refund for a Boost?</strong></h3><p>No. Boost purchases are non-refundable.
